Dear Diary

I never had a real diary... I'd always get one (they were pretty).. want to write in it, so I'd pretend to put something important.. which was really "dear diary, hi" or " i saw a cat" very awesome of my child of a self.

Might have to do with the fact I would rather read than write, I had a snoopy sister or I never had anything worth writing about. Boring life I led eh?

Anyone else as boring a me?

La la La AMAZING!

So I watched Bones last night, It was a pretty good episode btw. It featured a childrens science show personality who wanted Bones to go on his show.  It pretty much reminded me of Bill Nye. Yay! Childhood tv shows! Things were so much more amazing when you were a kid. It's true, don't deny it. Bill Nye video.. watch me

On a HAPPPPY note, less than 3 weeks til I get my house! Tres exciting! Take that BMO mortgage woman! I dont need a man to get a house now do I. Sexist *****. ( In short, I went to my bank she sed your gonna waste my time, wait til you have a husband to help you.)

Going floor hunting today, it shall be fun.  Until  I can't find what I want for a resonable price:( boo. Hardwood is way to expensive! Comeonnnnnnn Direct buy! Dont let me down!

Beer

While in Portland, Maine, I experienced the most amazing beer ever.

Shipyard Brewing Co. PumkinHead beer. delicious. If you've ever had beer, you know what Im saying when I say aftertaste, well imagine beer w/o the aftertastes AND delicious pumkiny flavour exploding in all your taste buds. Yea, an orgasm in your mouth is right.
If your ever down that way(or up) def try it out and think of me and how thankful you are you read this.

Cheers,
K

Button Magic

So after reading an article on "Placebo buttons" it made me think, what are all of the "magic" buttons that make things work ( not really, but pushing them make us think they do). The article touched on a few,

Cross walk buttons

Fake thermostats in offices

Elevator door closing button (apparently disabilities act made those go out of style)

oh and the "clients looking over my shoulder looking for me to change something, ill just open this, and move this and close this, wa-la! happy customer"

What others can you think of?

cheers,
K

Measurement systems

Units bug me.  The whole world should operate within the same system of units, thus immediately eliminating any issues in mistaken units.  Airbus 380? not a problem, fuel amount? Great! Strangely the accidents I know of having to do with units are aviation related... not sure if that's because I'm a pilot and I just tend to learn these things, or they just largely happen in aviation due to the more commonly used imperial system in North America in combination with metric.

Work uses imperial.. and metric.  Tres confusing sometimes, til of course you realize whats going on, then it's "hmm.. ok?"  But it's not like one company can change the world by swapping entirely to metric. Sadly.

One day.

The world will be.

Metric.

Ottawa

Im still not convinced Ottawa is part of Canada.

I've been here for little over 3 months, I've yet to like going outside.  It's either a hell-hole of heat, or a pit of rain.  Now you may think I'm exagerating, saying, " I was in Ottawa, it was beautiful!" I call bull shit on you. Wherever you were before must have been miserable.  I'm East Coast born and bred, Ive seen shit weather all my life, but nothing compared to Ottawa.

An example of the riduculousness: check the weather yesturday, the weather network calls for suns across the board. check the weather 12 hrs later, 3/6 days are raining.

I was informed thursday last week that this was a weird September, its usually really nice in September here. To be honest, I dont remember September, I looked at the calendar and was shocked to see October.

On a happy note

Cheers!

Elections

Just want to say YAY! No more Liberals! Shawn Graham wasn't exactly the pride of the Graham clan to say the least.

At least he failed on the attempt to sell us out to the french. Its not every day your gov't official wants to screw your province over for money... Hmm wait a second! It is!

hehe something funny I found... good ol' Quebec Hydro... good thing that fell through, We'd be as screwed as NFLD... :S

Sorry for lack of coherent though.. I just wanted to comment on the fact libs are out! and PC back in their rightful place, theres a reason canada still exists, and it sure as hell wasnt the liberals.

Bookshelves

Have you ever really given thought to bookshelves/cases?  I never, until I came to the realization that I need one.. and a big one at that.  My bookshelf need is on of the floor to ceiling variety, but as luck has it, they dont come, shall we say, "pretty" "decorative" "stylish" and spacious.  Along my stumbles however, I've come across quite a few...lets call them "artcases"  practical use as a shelf, but main priority as a feature object for a room (seen to right is one such example).

My favourite is featured on the bottom left as a staircase.  Im not sure how this could every be incorporated into my house, not sure if it could even survive my house, but I'd sure love to try.

Iron Ring, Exams... and life..:S

So, it's coming... what you may ask.  Life.  The Real World.  Responsibilities. Ye, know, the gross stuff u hear horror stories about in first year uni, about how Suzy got a degree and now works a 9-5 and has no life outside of work cuz theyre dorks, you know, adult stuff.  Soon enough, you walk out your door and find yourself 45, married with 2 brats who are worse then you'd ever thot of being as a kid due to the lack of social equiette thats developed over the past 5-10 years.

Enough of that dreary talk.  Got my Iron Ring. -dances-  4 long years done with, though, considering a masters,  so I guess I could end up being around a bit longer.  But yes. Passed in my lsat report today, pain in the arse it was. Took over 2 hours to print due to the formatting disappearing when I hit print.  Soooo not a time.  Killed a few trees too :(, but all is well now.  2/4 on exams, and done friday! Then its off to the SUNNY land of Cuba, where alcohol comes included and so does the sand.  super excited!  One downside is though, Im pasty, so Ima gonna burn to a beat red colour:(. Go Go gadget Sunscreen!!

Cheers

Now Taking Applications...

Today I went home. Not to my apartment, but to my land of birth. Its kinda of a big deal there... ye. Anyways, I live on the border of Maine and NB, therefore, we go overcross a bunch, and today happened to be one of those days. Presque Isle is pretty mudh my favourite place to shop, everything is cheap, and shopping for clothes is an enjoyable experience. Me + DEB = hours of enjoyment.  Today in particular I just went to browse, didn't quite end up that way to say the least. Started out with jeans, ended up with a pile of dresses. At the time I found the dresses I pretty much changed focus into "I need a dress for ball and iron ringggg"!!!!! Found one! Haha. super cute, black and white, classy.  Now at this point, Ive found what i want, and just waiting for me ma to come pick us up, thats when we decided to take a further look at dresses, and that was when I found my future wedding dress! Bam!. only black. :)
So, in order to be able to get my dress (which was only $150!) I need to find someone to marry, therefore I am now taking applications for marriage. :)

Gone...but Here!

Haha. so I kinda disappeared there for.. oh say half a month? I do have a legit reason.  But ye. So pulled an all nighter last night to try to get progress done a glider design report due today.. anot sure if it worked or not.. see about that when we go to work it out again.

So, question for people. Whats your plans for March break? I was previously going to Flordia... but this has since changed.. Boo.

Super powers? I wish!

So the day has finally arrived! FRIDAY! not my favourite day of the week, (I TA labs... its annoying being at school til 530), but this week I think its a good day. So mainly this is due to the SUPERHERO pubcrawl the engineers are hosting, and best part... we get capes! BAM! That totally sold me on it. This is the first pubcrawl Ive been on i believe that originally starts downtoan and goes uptown, kinda neat, not so much on the walking home part, but Ill deal.

ps.. still need a costume, if anyone has ideas!! hero or villan!

Prolly the best day of this week.. Saturday! "International kiss a pilot day" therefore, I expect lottsa kissy's!!! lol This makes me laugh. Ive been missing out all these years not knowing about this! And the fact its the night before V-day, even better, we take precedence! hahaha.

Worst day? This I think I will chalk up totuesday or today.. tuesday was attrociously full of classes.. which I cant seem to get up for my 9 am one on time.. oh well. Today was a bit gross mostly due to the fact  I was in meetings all afternoon (like 1230-630), but a good point, went and got my car looked at, now I have heat and presumably cool air, as well as no more "chirping" and got my burnt out/ lights replaced! Now for a fuel filter and ol' Crayon will be good as new! <3

Cheers! Enjoy the weekend!

Midterms are... awesome?

So I got blog "policed" at for being lazy and unimaginative.. I laughed. <3 you Robyn. She wrote a nice lil blog alllll about me! It's amusing reading about how other people see you and memories that stick out to them. A lot of these memories strangly involve alcohol.. this is kinda the opposite of how things usually go eh?

So I had a TME midterm today. Went horrid. Noy due to my lack of studying, more to the fact that it was a super gay test and made no sense. But oh well. only 15%. Have another tomorrow.. Which Im currently playing procrastionator at, which is fun. Found a new anime series to watch, "spice and wolf" not bad, kinda annoying that it has subtitles. Dont the Japanese know english is wayyyyy cooler? booo!

Anyways.  <3 for now.

Good (?) Times in the Hood

So.. I've been a tad bit lazy with the posting.. but I've been busy...and sick, again.  Last weekend was the robotics competition at school, WOOooo fun stuff, if I wasn't lazy I'd post some pics, had a wicked playing field this year, there were snowmen!! And school doesnt like me very much lately, assignment due monday, tuesday, lab due wednesday, work wed, work thursday, meetings  all afternoon thursday assignment due friday, work saturday,. and it repeats.. everyweek.

But on a happy note, I finally got a flexible work schedule!  2-3 shifts a week, and when i want one of my days off, I can just ask my boss! which is just in time cuz now I can go on my sorority pubcrawl! <3 happpy bout that! speaking of pubcrawls, The EUS Superhero pubcrawl is next friday(12th) ...we get CAPES!!!! THIS is EXCITINGGG! haha, woot for caps. Its the first pubcrawl I'll have gone on that starts downtown and goes up, which is sweet, we get to go to the nursing bachelourette auction! And I can get drunk at work for cheappppp.. which is good cuz Im poor.

And the reason Im poor.. March Break.. It's gonna be great. The guy I'm going with is coming up this weekend for the Atlantic Engineering Competition (still sad my group dropped out on me) so Im pumped to see him, It'll be a year exactly since I saw him. Which is sad :( Oh well! Im sure i'll want to kill him after spending a week with him :)

PS ...we still need ONE more person to go with us...... any takers...? (need a motorcycle tho) Come on.. DEALS GAP!! MIAMI!! DAYTONA!!! THE BEACH!!! BIKE WEEK!!! FLORDIA.... how could anyone say no? I know I never.  :)

Note to self(and Candice).. dont go jogging in the winter

So, it's Tuesday night. After a hectic day of school, which was made better by my two hour lecture being cancelled, and allowing me to go sit with the girls at the Haiti fundraiser table. yay! And a tiny bit better by the fact the midterm I was studying for all day (not hard really), took 15 minutes to write, but it was multiple choice, soooooo Im not expecting good on that respect, but it wasnt bad.

So now, Im lying in bed just surfin the net, when Candice texts me. "Wanna go for a jog," now I'm thinking, hmm this sounds nice, I missing circuits therefore I should do something. So we go. now for all of you that know Freddy, you prolly know this, the city is F'in LAZY. What sarted as a "jog" soo turned horribly wrong. The walking trails of Freddy are covered in a nice coating of ice and snow, even after the massif amount of snow that melted that day, (which is why we thot it'd be ok) there was still only the BRIDGE that was "clear" clear being able to run on and not kill yourself.

Now,  having made it across the bridge, we continue on the trail, which seems promising. Not 5 mins later were we confronted with a MASSIF lake. So being the weaklings we are, we DIDNT cross it. lol. Instead, we decided to go through the snow field (which didnt have freezing water) to the sidewalk. During this jaunt, somehow it turned into a race (which I won! woot!), and this is where my story come to now. During our lil "race" I twisted my hip somehow... who knows running in calf high snow is hard, and it seems our adventure didnt like me, as I wake up today with aches all over. Boo. <3 u candice. lol

On a high note for our "adventure in downtown/northside freddy" going back across the Westmorland , we were bad and used the old sidewalks they had blocked off! woot for jumping barracades!

Kittys, oh < 3

So, anyone whos been around me, knows I have two adorable little beasts, Valentino (Tino) and Jager(meister).  They cover me in hair, they climb my walls, they bust up my blinds.. but, I adore them still. At the moment, the youngest, Jager, is trying to dig a hole in my bed, he's a bit off. Hes about 14 mths old and looks 6 mths, I call him my perpetual kitty, cuz thats what he is next to any cat his age, his brother Tino is twice the size and 2.5 times as heavy, and hes only 4 mths older! Id love to demonstrate the difference with a metre stick next to them stertched out, but i dont have one :'(.

Anyways, My point. The boys get into "tantrums" when i neglect them. So ther other night, while at work, they decided that the blinds were in their way. So I wake up in the AM, to see, wow, my blinds arent quite work. So now before I move out I have to find blinds. So getting to the point finally,  if anyone sees blinds on sale for cheap, I need me some! So give me a heads up! any colour will do, lol.  :)

Cheers,

Ten Things.

Ten things about me! So if you know me to any extent these prolly wont surprise you :)

1. I love to fly (unlike T-Pain). Im a pilot, and have flown for over 4 years now. (and if you read my last few post know im AM going to go to Michigan in may and get my aerobatic rating so i can do loops, and spirals and hammerheads.. etc!!!)

2. I drive a motorcycle. Kawasaki Vulcan 500, 2006.(which currently resides in my living room, after it's one month stay in my kitchen) Im   ready to upgrade! had my Benji for over 5 years now. So time for an upgrade. I want this beautiful beast, the Triumph Daytona 625, or....> the Speed triple with its single swingarm and 1050 cc of sexy power.

3. My dream animal is a Newfoundland dog.  :) They're massif, and huggable! who needs a man when u have his best friend?

4.  cracker soup is my favourite food.  Be it mixed with tomato or chicken noodle, there must be a thick solid layer of soda crackers.

5. Im a workaholic. I get a lil free time on my hands, and my head wanders, then ill pick up another task. As of right now, my list of exrtracurrucular/ schooly things are:

Full time student in Mech Eng & TME (6 classes)
Work part time at the campus bar (S-Club)
Grad rep on the SSME, Student society for mech eng (we plan the end of year banquet)
Exec in my sorority (the money maid)
VP on our schools Formula SAE team (we build a mini F1 race car)
TA a CAD lab and mark for it
TA a Thermo class, (so i do the tutorial and mark tests) and research assistant/analysist
IRONRING yearbook editor
I think thats it.. I cant wait to graduate!

6. Ive never been in a relationship for more than 3 months.. Im way too picky I guess.. or I get fed up with them. I only ever seem to  date the arts boys or the army boys, so then I come across the issue of the instances when Im smarter than them and it annoys me. what can I say. My fav type of boys are the military boys, now I know its kinda,  dunno, off,  to like a certain "Genre," But seriously. They work all week, I go to school all week, I dont like boys to bug me when Im stressed, then I get grumpy, so its like.. hmm..  if I can get a dude that I only have to pay attention to on weekends, why the hell not? Haha.. Je suis terrible, I acknoldege this, if guys could too, we'd be set!

7.  I have the worst immune system everrrr! Im sick constantly, and for months at a time. If i get better in less than 3 weeks, Im a happy camper. im currently sick, going on 8 days, doenst look like blue skys in the horizon. It makes my slighty happy when I get ppl around me sick, its a kind of justice I believe.

8. Im alergic to Oranges and Lactose intollerant. Ye.. Its odd, I wont object.

9.  I hate bed sheets. With a passion. my bed is a layered pile of blankets and sheets and puffs and pillows. The feel of that thin gross cotton is the worst thing ever. If I could kill sheets, they'd be kilt.

10.  I want to build a time machine and go back to WWI and fly fighter planes. I know this is like number 1,  but TIMEMACHINE!. lol, I think the old bi=planes of the eary 1900's were amazing in theyre ability to fly being buckets of bolts most of the time, a real feat in engineering at the time.

So.. you were right Tyler, in that I would do this. :)

Terrible Tuesday.

So I think this week my inability to say no to work might catch up to me. Well.. my cold doesnt help by slowing me down, but with deadlines on the horizon, I dont quite see the sun, hopefully its just the snow...

I went to school for 9am.. i just arrived home at 130am, not too happy about that, never even got a chunk of work done, it was just classes til 8 :( boo, tuesdays suck. I got an email last night telling me Im doing a tutorial for a course I TA, and was given the assignment solutions.  So from this, Im to believe that I sit around and answer questions, but an hour before my session, i get another email with a bunch of practice questions. GAH. So with no time to review them ( I was in class) I just sorta wing them. Good thing only one person showed up, I think I sorta confused him on a topic, but I directed him to the right direction.

So right after this tutorial I had a 3hr class, which my assignment was due at the first of class. My assignment was on my laptop, which decided it would be a lilttle hellion. So what shouldve took 2 mins max to print a 2 page document, took over 20 mins, and I was of course late. Story of my life :( So Technology hates me today.

On a happy note, today my sorority was maning the Haiti Relief booth, and we made it on the SU facebook group site! woo! So thats exciting.  :)

Anyone else think today was cursed?

New information to add to my Hoard and Fate

So I've rediscovered the podcast world, and I really dont know why I stopped, they are much more interesting than sitting in silence! While listeing to the "airplane geeks" podcast I learned a new term! Sesquiplane, this refers to a bi-plane with the bottom with a different size. Often called the "one-and-a-half" wing plane.

So I meantioned how Im thinking of doing the ACRO CAMP, haha, Steve knows he's going to pick me, Im too awesome not to. So while listening to the AIRSPEED podcast, he meantions the book they'll  be using.. and being half asleep, Im like.. that sounds familiar. So I go raid my textbooks, and BAM! there it is, sitting between a couple engineering texxtbooks, "Basic Acrobatics" by Geza Szurovy. Side note, went to Oshkosh 2008, ever since my cross country to Rimouski Airport, and I got a glimpse of two beau Pitts Specials, I knew one day I would have one of my own. But in order to do this, I needed some info! So, while in the Acrobatics tent/building, I purchased a book. And lo and behold.. it may be of use! Therefore, It pretty much fate.  On a sad note, my Acrobatic Angel tshirt went missing when i moved, along with my cute dress pants and fav  sweater :(

AeroBATics woooo!

So highlight of my week end, the discovery of this website/blog. So, this guy is making a documentay on the aerobatics flight experience, and to do so is looking to film 4 people going through the steps of getting the rating. So 4 days of joy in the sky! And... ima gonna do it. he may not know he's gonna choose me yet, but he will.  <3

on another note.. Im still sick. :( therefore any donations of tissues are welcome. ;)

cheers!

JOKER go boo!

lil bit of a watch, it`s quite interesting actually!

woo psych!

so I stumbled across some "actual conversationjs between travel agent and customers" and thot id share!

I had someone ask for an aisle seats so that his or her hair wouldn't get messed up by being near the window.

A client called in inquiring about a package to Hawaii.  After going over all the cost info, she asked, "Would it be cheaper to fly to California and then take the train to Hawaii?"

I got a call from a woman who wanted to go to Capetown.  I started to explain the length of the flight and the passport information when she interrupted me with "I'm not trying to make you look stupid, but Capetown is in Massachusetts. "Without trying to make her look like the stupid one, I calmly explained, "Capecod is in Massachusetts, Capetown is in Africa."  Her response ... click.

A man called, furious about a Florida package we did. I asked what was wrong with the vacation in Orlando. He said he was expecting an ocean-view room. I tried to explain that is not possible, since Orlando is in the middle of the state. He replied, "Don't lie to me. I looked on the map and Florida is a very thin state."

I got a call from a man who asked, "Is it possible to see England from Canada?" I said, "No." He said "But they look so close on the map."

Another man called and asked if he could rent a car in Dallas. When I pulled up the reservation, I noticed he had a 1-hour lay over in Dallas.  When I asked him why he wanted to rent a car, he said, "I heard Dallas was a big airport, and I need a car to drive between the gates to save time."

A nice lady just called. She needed to know how it was possible that her flight from Detroit left at 8:20am and got into Chicago at 8:33am.  I tried to explain that Michigan was an hour ahead of llinois, but she could not understand the concept of time zones. Finally I told her the plane went very fast, and she bought that!

A woman called and asked, "Do airlines put your physical description on your bag so they know who's luggage belongs to who?" I said, "No, why do you ask?" She replied, "Well, when I checked in with the airline, they put a tag on my luggage that said FAT, and I'm overweight, is there any connection?" After putting her on hold for a minute while I "looked into it" (I was actually laughing) I came back and explained the city code for Fresno is FAT, and that the airline was just putting a destination tag on her luggage.

I just got off the phone with a man who asked, "How do I know which plane to get on?" I asked him what exactly he meant, which he replied, "I was told my flight number is 823, but none of these darn planes have numbers on them."

A woman called and said, "I need to fly to Pepsi-cola on one of those computer planes." I asked if she meant to fly to Pensacola on a commuter plane. She said, "Yeah, whatever."

A businessman called and had a question about the documents he needed in order to fly to China. After a lengthy discussion about passports, I reminded him he needed a visa. "Oh no I don't, I've been to China many times and never had to have one of those." I double checked and sure enough, his stay required a visa. When I told him this he said, "Look, I've been to China four times and every time they have accepted my American Express."

A woman called to make reservations, "I want to go from Chicago to Hippopotamus, New York" The agent was at a loss for words. Finally, the agent: "Are you sure that's the name of the town?" "Yes, what flights do you have?" replied the customer. After some searching, the agent came back with, "I'm sorry, ma'am, I've looked up every airport code in the country and can't find a Hippopotamus anywhere." The customer retorted, "Oh don't be silly. Everyone knows where it is. Check your map!" The agent scoured a map of the state of New York and finally offered, "You don't mean Buffalo, do you?" "That's it! I knew it was a big animal!"

  got em from here!

Sick say wa?

-cough cough cough- Tis me. So I woke up this morning (friday) and discovered I had a VERY sexy voice.. yay. :( If anyone is jealous, I'm willing to share.... any takers? ye didnt think so.  So after a nice long day of attempting to do two assignments (plus class and TAing a lab) and only finishing 3/4 of one, I decided. Im sick, Im allowed to give up!

On a High note, Finally got to see K after a month long drought :( boo. and go dancing!!! <3 which was prolly not wise as I feel like crap now, and my predictions for the AM? No voice at all. sigh. I must say though, sweets def classed up! so much bigger!! kinda sad they got rid of the Rodeo, but wht can ye do.  There were also a lot of cougars there:s Dont they know they belong at the 20?!! Guess not. I hope im not as gross as some of those ladies when im their age. GAWDDDD.

Also had an awesome time at game night! WOOT BUZZ IS THE BEST!!!!! <3 I want to play this every week! hmmm.. -shifty eyes- This may have to happen.

-cough cough- okay, bed time! Now just to make it through work tomorrow! (PS VISIT ME!)

Grammar yo?

My rant number 2

Ever been reading something and your deep in and havin a time, when BAM, you get slapped in the face with a big ol' grammatical error! Well I have. ADM4326, Customer satisfaction and loyalty. The book is a collection of research articles on the topics to be discussed, but 20 years old in some cases. I know these were back in the days of "pre-spellcheck" but comeon! Get an editor to read it, or a friend!  My textbook is riddled with pencil marks of my fixing the book, and this makes me sad.  Icing on the cake? The exam was tonight, (woot finally done) reading through the 3 essay type questions(GROSS) and reading them 5 times before finally deciding that they make no sense and i should just take key words out of it and try to construct an answer.  For a man with a Ph.D, you'd thiunk he could articulate a question!!!
.

Breathe..

<3

A little bit of a rant.  Okay, I dont know how, but I thinks its my cats, my computer goes into "french" mode.  I`m sure anyone in my prediciment know what im talking about, but for those who dont, its the alternate meanings for buttons, how like the shift+ question mark gives me É, ye, thats annoying, so i have to go and find where ? is in the french mode, which turns out to be shift + 6, odd eh?  Ye, if anyone has the solution to my problem, feel free to say, I could go about searching the net, but Im not bothered that much, just almost. Give me a few weeks. :)

Cars `n` Roses

So, ever wonder exactly what an engineer does in real life? Lexus LFA would be one example, a feat of engineering they say took 9 years.  Now as sexy as this car is, here, no need for watching a video to see the sexyness, ----> look there it is. Don`t you want to drool on the interior?  I`d strongly advise against it, 350,000 pounds.  So, bout 590,000 Canadian dollars.   haha could buy a Ferrari for 200,000 less.  Yes, the sad truth is, being a ME is hard, all day we think bout all these pretty toys we will soon get to be part of, and soon hope to own, if not drive around a test track.  :)

So being the awesome person I am, I acquired a couple jobs today!  As of right now, I am $1400 away from Flordia on March break!(I`ll keep ye posted on how things go) WOOT! (so if I disappear, look at the Social Club, I should be there... working)

Now why you ask, am I going to Flordia on March break? We`ll, I guess I`ll tell! Bike Week 2010. Bikers from all over NA gather, and all sorts of fun happens!  PS, if you have a bike (TYLER!!) you should come!

On with it, Clubs n societies fair was today. :( Sad my prof scheduled class during it!  Hope the girls had a good time and recruited!!!! And Im super excited for DIMITRIES & Zees :)

Cheesecake Lolli`s

Adventure number 1:

So, 11 am on a saturday, what is any normal person doing? Shopping (as this is a consumeristic world.) Well I wont dissapoint! I was:) in a mild form of it, which included the market. On everyones Saturday morning escapades should be the Saturday morning farmers market, the great cure for any misdemeanours that happened the previous night, may it be drinking ones self into a stupor and finding ones self with no underwear in a strangers bed, to working all day and night and waking up in the wee hours of the day to sounds of a wasing machine from the murdous landlord. So yes, I like any awesomely awesome person went to the market! Highlight you may ask? The "Flight of the Eagle" booth. Now, any of my sisters will understand, and I'll leave it at that. lol.. You may ask why meantion it? Well to answer you, cuz I can. I'm kind of a bitch that way, you'll see. ;)

Adventure number 2:

Now, after a great stint at the market, what does one do for entertainment in the town on freddy beach? Well, not too far away is a lil place called 'Science East.' What is this? Any one with children probably know, but for you adults out there, its an amazingly awesome place where science is dumbed down for the ordinary person. Haha... I watch too much " The Big Bang Theory" .... ye, Im only marginally geeky. Get over it. ANYWAYS, awesome place, go to it!

Adventure number 3:

Back on track with shopping, is the awesome "boutique" if you will, of "Geek Chic" home to periodic table of elements shower curtains, and dreams of science, perfect after science museum stop eh?

Favourite shirt of all time --> now, haha comment "woot if you know what it means ;)

Adventure number 4:

The quest for chinese food. Okay, Saturday afternoon lunching is difficult in the downtown, this same thing happened in Moncton too! Chinese, or any foreign food place for that matter, don't like the morning..apparently. But yes, we went to "Asia Beef Noodle" and lo and behold, it wasnt open. -tear- Its ok, I'm over it now, we went to the mall!

Adventure number 5:

Now the mall, being the ever popular hangout for kids who get allowances and spend their day wasting braincells at the arcade, was busy to le extreme.. went through half the mall parking lots findng a spot to park. :( boo. Might I say, I hate bad drivers, in this case it was a man. Lets just say, I win. now, being at the mall, and our group having dispersed, I happen upon a couple of my ladies. And being true to it, went shopping. :)
